A roadworthy is the legal minimum. A PPI is whether you should buy it.
A Queensland safety certificate tells you the lights work. A pre-purchase inspection tells you whether the car is about to need a timing chain, a dual-clutch service or a new compressor. What we check
- Scan for stored and pending fault codes, not just the lamp.
- Underbody: rust, oil leaks, CV boots, exhaust, subframe.
- Engine and transmission condition on a road test.
- Brakes, tyres, cooling system, air con performance.
- Service history gaps, odometer plausibility, obvious respray or flood clues.
Bring the car to us
The buyer (or the seller, if they agree) drives the car to Unit 1/54 Export Drive so we can put it on the hoist, scan it and road-test it. If the seller will not travel 10 minutes from Southport or Nerang, that is information too.
