Queensland safety certificates, inspected on the hoist
In Queensland you need a current safety certificate (roadworthy) to sell a registered car, to transfer interstate registration in, or to register an unregistered vehicle. Driven Autocare issues them at Unit 1/54 Export Drive, Molendinar for $89.
If something fails you get a list in plain English and a quote to fix it here — or you take the list and come back. We also issue annual Certificates of Inspection (COI) for rideshare and taxi for $89.
What we inspect
- Tyres, spare and tread depth
- All required lights and reflectors
- Windscreen, wipers and washers
- Brakes, including the park brake
- Steering and suspension play
- Seatbelts and airbag warning lamps
- Structural rust and underbody lines
- Exhaust leaks and number plates
A roadworthy is not a service. Worn wiper blades fail; an overdue oil change does not.
